Massasoit Community College’s 2nd Annual Cardboard and Duct Tape Canoe Race – Mon, October 21, 2024
Massasoit Community College hosted its Second Annual Cardboard and Duct Tape Canoe Race during STEM Week 2024. This fun and friendly competition challenged participants to utilize their creativity and engineering skills to build a canoe and paddles that not only floats but also can be paddled across the water without sinking, using only cardboard, duct tape, and plastic trash bags.

Robbins Children’s Programs
Thank you to the Sun Chronicle and author George W. Rhodes for providing tremendous coverage to the Robbins Children’s Programs during STEM Week. Robbins had the honor of hosting Congressman Jake Auchincloss, Mayor Cathleen DeSimone, state Sen. Paul Feeney, D-Foxboro, and state Rep. Adam Scanlon, D-North Attleboro, for a tour. Southeastern Regional Technical High School
Cyber Security Students at Southeastern Vocational Technical High School – Oct 22nd
Focus: Cybersecurity Pathway Programs, IT Priority Industry
Secretary Tutwiler met with senior students enrolled in the Cybersecurity program at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. After meeting with the students, he participated in a recording a podcast for their program for a discussion about the various skills the student acquired through their years in vocational studies. In addition, he visited with students in vocational/technical programs including electrical, plumbing, and medical assistant.
