On behalf of Bridgewater State University and Massasoit Community College, we are pleased to invite you to Rebuilding Our Community: Aligning Policy, Practice, and Resources for Lasting Impact, a regional convening co-hosted by our two institutions under the auspices of the CONNECT Partnership. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM at Bridgewater State University, Rondileau Campus Center, Ballroom.
As long standing collaborators in advancing educational and community well-being across Southeastern Massachusetts, Bridgewater State University and Massasoit Community College, together with our CONNECT partners, recognize the urgent need for cross-sector engagement to better support youth, families, and emerging adults. Our region is strengthened when educators, human service providers, behavioral health professionals, policymakers, and community leaders come together to address the complex systems that shape opportunity and outcomes.
This one-day conference is designed to foster exactly that kind of collective action. As outlined in the attached agenda, the convening will provide a vital space for dialogue, shared learning, and problem-solving across sectors. Opening discussions, panel discussions, and a keynote presentation by Dr. Sharrica Miller will explore how policy alignment, innovative practice, and coordinated resource-sharing can strengthen wraparound supports for those navigating foster care, behavioral health systems, youth services, and related community pathways.
Participants will hear from leaders, practitioners, and individuals with lived experience who will challenge us to consider new approaches and elevate promising models already making a difference in our communities. By day’s end, attendees will leave with deeper connections and a clearer roadmap for collaborative action, one that reflects the power of regional partnership and the shared commitments that define the CONNECT network. Registration is limited, so reserve your spot today!
