Growing a Healthy Sense of Entitlement in Transfer Students: The Critical Role of Faculty (Video) – In her keynote at the 3^{rd} Annual CONNECT Conference, Dr. Becky WaiLing Packard discusses the critical role of faculty members in facilitating students pursuing the transfer pathway. Based on her NSFfunded longitudinal research project focused on STEM Transfer in Massachusetts, she provides research results identifying factors influencing the progress and delay of students. She emphasized relevant strategies for faculty and colleges to engage in that can improve transfer experiences.
Summary of Mathematics Town Hall Meeting Carousel Activity (2/26/2010) – The Town Hall Meeting Carousel Activity at the 3^{rd} Annual CONNECT Math Conference engaged faculty in a carousel activity which had them think, write, share, and discuss their thoughts and experiences on topics all mathematics instructors deal with.
